One of my favorite areas of composition is arranging the percussion music for marching band shows. I strive to create unique, but effective parts, that are not only fun to listen to, but are also fun for the kids to play. Over the years I have observed some very efficient and successful pit and battery books. It is my goal to give you a working musical ensemble from the very beginning, taking into consideration difficulty, timing/listening challenges, layering, and timbre.

All of my arrangements are custom and are catered towards your ensemble. I put extra emphasis on a legible score/parts  and music that is situationally appropriate and playable. Before I send out the music, you are guaranteed that I have sat down and played each part to check for errors or awkward writing that may not lay well in the hands; a by-product of solely composing on a computer.

My percussion parts work great as stand alone music, but most importantly I write both pit and battery to be supportive roles of the winds. Musicality and appropriate writing are at the forefront of my arrangements.
